Hey Guys its been a while since i posted because everything has been going SO well on the celsior, no issues at all, which is purely fantastic!
The story is i'm going to take up Go Kart racing next year and need to fit a tow bar to the celsior. (preferably of the square hitch/hayman reece variety) Unfortunately it will mean chopping a whole out of my 12month old aftermarket bumper... but hey what can you do!
So my question is this: Has anybody got a towbar on their car? has anybody tried to fit a towbar? I know that Beau Yates, the drift legend, uses a celsior to tow his AE86 Sprinter . but i have never seen another celsior towing. Will this create issue because i have air suspension? i figure if i switch TEMS on while i'm towing it should be fine Any help would be hugely appreciated!!

gday there mate i think Hayman Reese has a tow bar for them give them a call because i remember a member on ausvip.com had one but he was in Queensland hope this helps

Theres a tow bar place along Parramatta Road that can do it for you. I drove from Gold Coast to Sydney just to have it installed in 2003. They have the contract to install to Lexus dealers. There were three other Soarers at the shop when I had the TOwbar installed. Am sure other members from here are also happy with their work. Just do a search on towbars from here.

YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPP I Finally got a tow bar. Supplied by JC Whitney international for $250 including postage and rated and trailer weight 1000kg it i a simple bolt on install. I'll post pics in a couple of weeks once its on

Heat is the main enemy of the autobox (that and lack of maintenance). So if you are towing heavy weights long distances or very regularly (like a caravan around the country), I'd get a larger tranny cooler installed.
If you are just towing a boat 10km to the beach/river every other weekend then I wouldn't bother.
