i am having wierd problems with my celsior ie- irregular stalling, idiing rough, not idling at all, lights coming on and off on the dash etc, so i am thinking its my ecu unless anyone can specify otherwise. so im after an main ecu for a ucf11 to see if that will change things. anyone have one for sale or feel like lending to me to see if thats my problem. thanks.

i might have to do that aaron. if its not the fuel pump which my father thinks it could be ill take you up on that offer. would my symptons lead to fuel pump issues or ecu issues?

does the car start then shut it self off during driving and/or not start at all, mines did these and it was the wires connected to the coilpack, i had rough idleing when i needed new ignition leads and spark plugs

yeah the car starts after about 5 mins of sitting still after stalling, but then when it does start it idles real rough, only will keep revs when im on the accelerator. but its really irregular stalling, would loose wires on the coilpack cause regular stalling?

yeah sounds exactly like my problem, my dad thought it was the fuel filter as well, i could only keep it alive if i kept pushing the accelerator down and i had to wait 1 night over an hour on the side of a road till it restarted then hammer it home with it stalling a couple of times even then. I would get the wires checked on the coil pack to make sure they're not loose. my problem was they were super glued on, i know dodgy or what. hope that's whats causing it and not anything expensive.
