For some time now I have put up with low sound from the drivers door speaker the rest being ok.
But yesterday whilst driving all the other speakers including the sub have lost all sound but the front drivers is still giving out low distorted sound.
This is of course the Celsior Premium sound system with the DSP function and differs from the Lexus setup
The head unit is powered and the cd track and time info is working normally and although I haven't yet had the chance to check the fuses I would think they are ok because of this.
Any ideas where to start or if anyone has the circuit diagram ( I can read these) it would be greatly appreciated.

might be the head unit or the plugs in the back, if it's all stopped working, unless they have water in them somewhere(unlikely), or you got an earth that shouldn't be there.... Hard to say until you pull it out and have a fiddle. I'd ditch the 'premium sound' anyway. Keep speakers and sub and put in a good mp3/DVD player. It will give a much better sound than the standard celsior unit anyway

Steve, the Celsior can have the same problems as the Soarer in regard to audio and EMV screen problems. These can simply be due to the age of components in the circuits used. I suspect that the amplifier stage is the cause of the faults and needs a few caps changing/clean up.
