Hey guys, Just a quick question about the procedure of removing the chrome strips on the outer body. I am getting my car resprayed very shortly and I want the chrome strips on the new bodykit but unsure about how to remove them from the standard door trims. Thanks guys

they're clip on/clip off, like most things on Toyotas hehe, but they also have glue on the back so when re-applying them you have to get like, double sided tape and stick them back on as well. I still have to do my front bumper

Also you have to peel the glue off first before trying to put it back on. So use like paint stripper/glue remover, you know the stuff. Will take you a while

Anything else? The panel beaters are going to be trying to take off the chrome strip on Monday hopefully without damaging it and try to see how good they will go onto the bodykit panels.
