Is a celsior water pump the same as a V8 soarer?
And has anyone done a water pump on one?
Seems like a job plenty of stuff to be moved just to get to the damm thing.
Thanks Tim

Yep, same pump, same timing belt, same timing belt kit.

While you are doing the pump, do the timing belt, the 2 timing belt bearings, and the tensioner at the same time.
The Dayco kit comes with new cam/crank seals too.

May as well do new plugs, leads, rotors and dizzy caps too.

Then you won't have to pull the motor apart for another 100,000km !!

I did the same when I first got my Celsior, water pump, all belts, tensioner bearings, dist cap, dist rotors, etc... was about $1200 in parts and took roughly a day to finish.
