| Rob's setup is a little conservative but you will have no tramlining and no rubbing....very smooth, like factory setup. You could go +38. Any lower and you'll rub. Look at Aaron's set up, it is perfect. |

If you have enlarged wheel arches or a widebody kit, those might fit. But never on a standard body. Not a snowflakes chance in hell. I have 19x8.5 +45 and 19x9.5 +40 |

| on standard guards the widest you can run are, well on 18s anyways are 18x8.5 +40 on the front and 18x9.5 +38 on the rear. That's what my wheels were. Sat perfect. or they could have been +35 on the rear... can't remember, but +35 is the definite limit for standard guards on the rear. |

Celsior is limited in rear adjustment so I don't know how you will achieve the 'massive' amount of rear camber, and stretched tyres are illegal in every state. Even with max rear adjustment and smaller tyres than would be normal, I'd be surprised if you can get +25 under the rear, maybe +30. |

| Just my opinion, I don't like the so called "VIP" look. Additionally, when taken to this extreme its dangerous and does nothing other than degrade the abilities of the vehicle (which is why its illegal) |

Dude. Id hardly call that "fitting". Id called that no more original than the tonnes of 'bippu' cars that float in to the docks every month with the same extrovert sense of taste. Theres nothing to learn from them, its all been done to death. If you like that though, good for you. But my point is, when you asked what was the biggest wheel fitment you could go, we all offered advice that would not require the modification of the guards at all, and have no scrubbing or other adverse wear and tear. |

| Be careful when you start talking about rolling Celsior guards , they are double skin and the sheet metal is thicker than most cars , I haven't yet seen Celsior guards rolled without damaging the paint work , also they tend to roll unevenly which will mean plenty of filler . I run 18x9.5 +45 on the rear with 265/35/18's with room to go to 285/30/18 , for every inch extra you go in rim size over 18" you have to go down in tyre width , unless of course you roll the guards or fit flares . |

| the offest you have mentioned are pretty weak in my opinion +40 i would much prefer flush fitment then sunken fitment. but thats just me i can see you guys don't like pushing the boundaries.but hey if you like you like it if you don't you don't,and Rich that picture i posted was rolled without damaging the paint work. i'm currently running 18x10's on the back |

| Ok Andrew. There is nothing wrong with stretched tyres. i had 235s stretched on my 18x9.5s and sure they looked cool, but they weren't sticking inches past the guards. It's highly illegal. The wheels HAS to sit no more than flush with the guard. My old celsior is for sale so here is a pic the dude took of the wheel: http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=492458 That's about as close to the limit as you can get without it being illegal or bad for your wheels. The other thing man. You have to understand, especially on bags, celsiors bounce. So if you have your wheel sticking past the guard, guess what happens when you hit large bumps? And you're talking like an 1800kg car, even with super stiff coilovers it's inevitable that it's going to hit it at some stage. Not to mention the first traffic cop or transport dept dude that sees you is going to defect you. Look dude i love the look you like as well, but it's not practical at all. |

| Totally agree with your comments about the guards Simon, but I'd disagree about there being nothing wrong with stretched tyre walls though. They are not designed to be stretched like that - thats why all tyre manufacturers have recommended rim widths for their tyres - the tyre wall has a job to do, and it can't do that job properly if its stretched beyond its design parameters. Stick to what the manufacturer recommends. |

Just a note about running with stretched tyres. Its illegal to run a tyre thinner than a rim. ie, a 9.5" rim is ~242mm wide, therefore the thinnest tyre you can legally put on it is a 245. |

| haha. Didn't know that actually. I bought wheels and tyres like that. But I got my celly sideways on a couple of occassions and the tyres seemed to be fine, not that I ever gave it a huge thrashing or anything. My Wheels are for sale on boost tho now. You could prob get them for 2 grand. I want them back... But I don't have spare cash until till i sell my suby... If anyone is interested in a Turbo liberty lol |
