So I have been trying to find a ps pump at a reasonable price (all the pumps locally have been in and around $450) so this is a cardone pump for $117. I just want to make sure that the pump from the LS400 is the same before I drive two hours each way to pick it up.

LS400 pump will be the same.

A rebuild kit is only about $50 though, and only about 30mins work once the pump is off (which you have to do anyway)

Pulling the pump isn't a lot of fun, so I figure if I am pulling it I might as well replace it. I'd hate to pull the pump rebuild it, only to find out that I screwed up and have to do it all over again.
