L17801-50010-83 is confirmed as fitting 11/89 - 2000 Celsior & Lexus LS400

L90915-20004 is also confirmed as fitting 11/89 - 2000 Celsior & Lexus LS400

ps: The TOYOTA part numbers are the same except you drop the "L" from the front of the part number(s), and the "83" suffix from the Air-Filter part number.

Much cheaper to buy from a Toyota dealer than a Lexus consesionaire

Hi,
Thanks Andrew I was going to do that if I got no joy here.

Many thanks Don I am going to bid on them as they are I think a lot cheaper than dealer prices providing there's not a bidding war and they are genuine Lexus too.

Be aware that the genuine Toyota filters are no longer the awesome unit they used to be about 2 years ago , they are now made in Mexico or Thailand or suchlike , they changed from the japan made filters , if you look at the filter and it doesn't have Denso Made in Japan on it you might as well use a Ryco and save .

Hmmm that's a shame, quite annoying hearing things like that.

Are any Toyota type filters for the Soarers motors still made in Japan as far as you know Rich?

I don't know , but I doubt it .
i used to use the Pure one filters but stopped that about 6 mths ago after seeing several failures , two of which ended in trashed engines , I think they where a different type of pure one but I stopped using them anyhow .
I now use the long Ryco filter rather than the short one , i use a full synthetic and change it every 10,000k's so the type of filter isn't really that critical .
Mike did you not get the E-mail i sent you ?
Anyhow I have 3 sets of engine mounts on their way and as to the Karlyn leads I would need to be paid up front for them , $140.00 aset with an extra coil lead that suits the Soarer's .
the engine mount number 30 and 31 refers I think to the uzz30 and uxx31 so they might well be the same , only one way to find out Mr guinea pig !!

Can't say I did unfortunately, must have been a glitch some where down the line receiving it. :-(

Are you able to send it again?

I think we still get the Jap filters here in NZ. Last one I got was definitely Denso anyway, and thats only 4 months ago (due for another change already!)

Tasman Toyota here in New Plymouth stock ONLY the genuine Japanese filter, and apparently Toyota NZ is quite happy to keep supplying them.

Not the same case in Oz unfortunately

The good one: 90915- 20004
