Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has seen or heard of the the euro headlights available through U.S ebay? I found these and i think they look quite snazzy :-)

was there any change to the headlight assembly between 1990 - 1994? I didn't think so but perhaps I am mistaken!

I don't know if it was just the 1990-1992 or if it is the US spec but the cars over there seem to have separate headlights and fogs where my 1994 has both combined into one unit.

Hmmm damn they would have looked quite good on my Celsior...

But the side corner park light is not the best in that style.

I like em. There is no reason you couldn't keep your original side corner light if you wanted and just use the headlights. I say, go for it.

Just remember that you can't run headlight designed for cars driving on the right hand side of the road in Australia as the light pattern is incorrect.

Is that not what the adjuster screws on the rear of the housing are for, to adjust the light pattern?

They adjust up/down and sideways, but not the actual pattern.

IIRC there were a few funny desogn regs in the US and A for imported vehicles. I remember that on 91 benz S class sedans, they came with almost IDENTICAL headlights as these from factory. Something about sealed beam requirements.

These lights appear to be an exact copy, as in 'a retro thing' for these cars. Also, in the US and A, the bumpers were extended horribly by about 25mm front and rear on the S class, making them look absolutely disgusting. I dont know if they did the same thing to Celsior bumpers.
