Okay,

Well I ran the test today.

1 of my celis go no codes,

1 got 3 of them

The codes I got where.

engine

24 - Intake air temp. sensor signal
31 - Air flow meter signal

traction control

51 - Problem in engine control system

Now im not sure what the traction control code is ment to mean, Traction control does work (well it seems to, I some times get wheel spin but a spilt second after traction control kicks in, Should there be no delay?)

The engine codes im not sure on either, Are they reffering to an issue with the components inside the air flow meter?

If so I will swap afm with my other celi and see if it clears the codes.

Thanks for any information.

They could be stored from a point where something may have had a moment and is now working fine.
Reset them all, go for a decent drive and re-check. The LexLS page tells you how to reset the computers.
Check the contacts on the plugs, engine bay's get dirty. Just do some cleaning, its cheap and may fix the problem.

Arhhh huh,

I should of thought of that.

When I replaced the spark plugs last week I took out the airflow meter and air box to do so. Silly me forgot to plug the afm back in and started the engine, (had a realllllly deep note to it) So I checked everything, I realized that I left the afm unplug, pluged it in and all went back to normal.

So these codes would of been generated then.

No doubt if I reset the ecu and do the test again I wont get any engine errors. Well that was an easy fix.

But this still doesnt explain my traction controll issue.

The only time I experiance traction issues is when I take my car over to my brothers house and park on the lawn, It has the 45degree style gutters on the street. I have to go up them on an angle to avoid scraping my frontbar/exhaust. 50% of the time the rear right wheel brakes out in wheel spin with a harsh axle tramp feeling. And I have to release the throttle as traction control doesnt kick in.

But it seems wierd that this is the only time it happens and traction control doesnt engauge at all. But if I put my foot down while exiting a corner sometimes when the engine reaches around 4000rpm it trys to spin the wheels and the throttle instantly backs off (I honestly cant even tell its wheel spining its that instant a light on dash flickers is the only way I can tell.

Some times it gets wheel spin off the lights and takes a split second for traction to kick in.

Im thinking maybe the Traction Control ECU is playing up.

Anyone else ever had a code 51 on the trac diagnostic?
