Hi all,

Below is a shopping list of sorts that I'd compiled months ago to replace everything comprising the Celsior's suspension. Unfortunately I only noted part numbers and not specifically what the part was...

What I'd like to do is gather any other parts that should be replaced when doing "everything" and a description of the part, then put this up on a web page somewhere for future reference for myself and others.

Does anyone have a similar list compiled already or have any pointers of where I can gather much of this info form?

Taking the liberty of cutnpasten the OP, cheers!

1x 45516-50011 - Rack Bush, Drivers Side
1x 45517-50010 - Rack Bush, Passenger

2x 48815-50122 - Sway Bar Bushing? There is two of em, same shape when I got mine, but separate part numbers, probably superseded now.


2x 48654-50010 - Lower control arm bush-pain to remove, I pushed the centre out with a big socket, then cut the remaining outer shell out of the lower control arm with a hacksaw.

2x 48674-50030 - Big strut bar/castor rod bush. Huuuge bush, it located at the front of the chassis, is connected to the lower control arm by two 14 or 17mm bolts.

2x 48725-50030- Rear Lower Control Arm bush

2x 48725-22110- Rear strut rod bush
2x 48815-50070- Rear Swaybar Bush.

^regarding these two part numbers for rear airbag struts. They have three different part numbers, and I assume that one of them is for TEMS, that being the one with the part number ending in 050.

i.e. 48090-50050, instead of the above listed.

^^ Nope Aaron, I have one of 48080-50010 here next to me and it has the TEMS fittings.

Yes indeed mate, the 48080-50010 and 48010-50010 are definitely air bags with TEMS.

I haven't received my 48090-50010 (left-hand rear strut) to confirm for sure, but I expect it to be air bag + TEMS too.

You got yours at a bargain too, the price for NZ stuff has gone up markedly (at least from RB Toyota.)

Which stealership did you buy through?

Im wondering what the big difference is in the 050 part number version that makes it nearly double the price?

Oh really?! Damn that sucks, I only ordered about a month ago from RB Toyota so would have expected the pricing to be about the same.


I don't have any idea what the 050 version is - not sure how we could find out either.
