I've seen full sets of 4 adjustable coilovers on ebay for $700.00 a set. Has anyone had experience with these and are they good value?
Is it better to have existing springs altered?
I'm only after about 40mm drop.

from what i have heard they are not the best option. they are a cheaper alternative and don't last as long as the more expensive ones available

Have a look at this earlier post Mike.

I did a fair amount of homework & believe the Megan Coilovers were the best option. $700 for coilovers does seem a little cheap though.
The megans were recommended by many members of Clublexus.com as well and are still going strong. Drop me a note if you need any more info

Thanks Mark. I had read that thread before which did give me some valuable info.
Do you know how hard it would be to fit bags into the LS400? I think I know where I can get a set at the right price.

Much easier with a hoist. maybe 1.5 hrs per corner for a first timer.
There is a tutorial somewhere but I cant remember if it was here or one of the other sites. I'll have a look around for you.

Thanks Mark, that would be much appreciated.
Of course with the airbags I can easily adjust to whatever I want in the way of height.

Hi Mike,
Ive looked around. Here's a link to a great ls400 site, but it only has the non-air suspension tut. Great one to have bookmarked for other maintenance though
