Hi,
On my Celsior, the TRC light comes on after about 5 minutes of driving and stays on. I also notice that my transmission does not kick down when I put my foot down, but the transmission problems came about 1 day after this TRC light.
No transmission error codes, but there are TRC Errors stored
I checked and got :
19 - TRAC motor ON and OFF operation is higher than a predetermined number of times (accumulator pressure leakage)
45 - When idle switch is ON, main throttle position sensor signal is 1.5V or higher
Could somebody explain to me what the actual problems are related with 19 and 45, and could any of this be related to the transmission not kicking down when i put the foot down?
EDIT - took it for another drive, cleared codes before driving. TRC light came on immediately after driving and stayed on, trans did not kick down but then began kicking down later ok. Now checking codes.

Your code 19 will be down to one of two problems : either fluid is leaking in the actuator or you have a leak in the pipework or joins , if you haven't been playing with it then it will most likely be a leak in the accumulator . Code 45 is as you said the throttle position sensor is showing a higher than normal current , it may just need adjusting , it relates to the position of the sensor when the throttle is off and the idle switch is on . First check that the idle switch actually goes into the off position when you depress the throttle , if it does check the current for the throttle position sensor , it should be 0.6 volts fully closed and it should be about 3.8 volts when fully open , as long as the fully closed voltage is about right the open one is not so important as how often are you at full throttle ? If the fully closed voltage is out adjust it till it's correct . Also the voltage should increase gradually as the throttle is opened . If you need some diagrams let me know and I can E-Mail them to you .

Thanks Rich,
Is this the Actuator that assists the brakes? I remember something about Celsiors using a nitrogen filled canister that uses the gas pressure to help assist instead of engine vacuum.
Or is this Actuator/canister the thing that individually triggers brakes like rear ones when wheelspin is detected?
Is it the canister located on the top right of the engine bay?
Which pins do I need to measure with multimeter to see if the IDL goes off when opening the throttle?
Which pins do I need to measure to measure the voltage of the TPS.
I assume to do these tests the harness needs to be connected so how can I actually measure the pins without disconnecting the harness?
And as for my kick down issue, what could be causing that?

Also i'm wondering how come both errors came up at the same time, like throttle position sensor error and the error with the leaking actuator/accumulator?

Didn't try, but unlikely since it just started happening so quickly, the day before it was working perfectly, plus it happened at the same time I began getting TRC Errors. Also other than no kickdown, when i stop at the lights it doesn't shift into first but stays in 3rd when I try to take off.
I'm wondering whether this could be related to the TRC Errors I'm getting, or is the box just going into limp mode when any TRC error shows up?
Filled up Brake fluid... TRC error 19 - Pump cycling too much is gone and car kicks down and drives as normal ---- I thought this was only because of low Nitrogen as everybody mentioned?
Also for some reason I do not get a TPS error anymore... why?
