I personally have Toyota badges on my car with exception of the wheels which are Lexus wheels and still the badges on them. A Lexus is a Toyota. But a Celsior is superior to a LS400. Changing to Lexus badges is downgrading the car to the luxury world of Lexus

IMO if you spend money on buying lexus badges for your celsior/soarer whatever.. you are a douche..

if it came from the factory as a lexus.. great..

if it came from the factory as a toyota.. great..

same thing.. if you trying to impress people with your badges you are a douche..

i remember some bloke on here a while back told me he spent $400 on getting gold (coloured, not material) badges for his soarer.. i think he may have gotten a little offended when i laughed in his face.. especially given he often stinged on things like oil, fuel (not running ultimate) etc...

My first Soarer had Toyota badges. I left it that way.
My current Soarer has Lexus badges, and I sure as hell are not going to risk the paintwork to change it back to Toyota.

Since I'm in a rural area, I spend half my time convincing workshops it's really a "crappy" Toyota so they don't rip me off!

Ultimately I don't think it matters. All the same car.

So don't judge, the owner may have bought the car rebadged :-)

Much less attention with the L badge, I have found. Will keep it that way too.

I think I could always think of something better to spend $400 on, so of course whatever you have on it when you buy it, its not worth changing unless you run out of things to spend money on! (I wish!)

yeah.. there are always better things to spend money on... i dont think i could ever justify spending money on badges... short of every panel being made form carbon fiber.. all exhaust, cooler piping, radiator piping etc... made from titanium, all glass converted to lexan.. well im sure you get the picture... even then, i think id rather blow it on alcohol...
