I just finished fixing my power steering pump leaks, and I reconnected the AFM piping and air cleaner.
all of a sudden I getting CEL faults and the car wont run properly when I take my foot off the accellerator quickly it stalls.
Car idles ok and slow with slow thottle inputs it will rev.
I pulled the AFM off and cleaned it and all the connectors. Still no good.

It feels like its stuffed.
Engine error code is 24 -
Intake air temp sensor signal

P/S leaks all fixed. :-)

Help. Thanks Guys

Check to make sure you don't have any air leaks after the AFM, its easy to forgot something.

Then pull the EFI fuse for about 5 mins, and take the car for another run, see if any other CEL codes come up.

Measure the resistance of the intake temp sensor and compare it to this.

I get 2800ohms at 18c

the car runs and revs ok if you keep the revs up over 1000rpm.

If you take your foot off the throttle suddenly the revs drop and the car will stall
If it was a carby I would say the idle jets have a problem.

I will reset the ECU and check the error codes again tommorrow

Did you reset the ecu?
Are you still getting code 24?

As far as the RPM things go, that sounds like either a misadjusted TPS or a faulty/dirty ISCV
