I too am wondering where a new air purifier filter can be had, don't know of any place that sells them.

These filters also have a certain scene that gives the Soarer that "Smell" from factory.

Your best bet is looking up the part number in on Toyodiy and ringing Toyota to see if the warehouses in Sydney or Japan have any.

88926-50011 <-- Thats the part number. I did some googling around, and it doesnt seem to really exist anywhere. I doubt a toyota place would be able to order one.

I took mine out yesterday to have a look at it, it was extremely filthy, I mean black and thick. I shook it out a bit, but I am thinking of disassembling the filter itself and taking the panel out to clean it properly, and perhaps wash it.

be careful when you do that mate because the filter paper is quite fragile and when i wiped it down with a wet cloth it looked like it was going to come apart. and once the filter paper is taken out its a lot of fiddling to get it all back in. but i did manage to get a lot of filth out of it.
i have just recently got an air compressor so i might try get some more dust out with the air gun

I know you can get them in NZ as I enquired about mine a few years back. They were something insane like $140 so I didn't bother as I hardly use it, and decided it was better to have a new A/C filter set instead (which were something like $80 each too bloody hell!)

Mine smelt like vomit when I bought the car, so I hosed it out a fair bit, removed it from the bracket and soaked it in napisan for a couple of days.

It expanded a fair bit, and took a fair bit of effort to get it to fit back in the bracket, but it worked.
