mike im pretty interested and im pretty sure my ecu is a 4 plug setup but not 100% sure since i have not looked at it in a while. here is a photo of a blitz ecu that i think is for my celsior but im not sure so ill take your advice and check it out

Matt: It all really depends on what the customer who originally order'd the ecu wanted. He/she may of just wanted max fuel economy and wasnt concerned about extracting as much power as possible. (Toyota's tend to run rich anyway, so by trimming the fuel and getting better fuel economy you also reap some extra killer wasps.
But generally they are tuned to get the best out of the engine in its stock form. Generally good on a 1uz for 15-20hp

Oh and be sure to always check pin outs for ucf10 ecu's. There was too differant pin outs, the exact dates can be found on the emanage website under harness selections. Its roughly 89-92 then 92-94 which is the series 1 and 2 ucf10-11
