Hey guys I will be using my celsior to tow my Ke70 to the occasional track day, I'm just wondering what suspension people have used when towing. My problem is my L/H rear airbag leaks slowly when the car is switched off at normal height, since the car is 20 years old should i just replace both rear air struts or remove the air suspension all together and put in new spring and shocks? any advice would be appreciated.

Springs and Shocks or aftermarket air struts. They weren't designed to have a tonne or so bouncing on the rear end. Factory bags wouldn't last long I don't think.

Thanks for the link, I decided on new OEM airbags/Struts for the rear. I have just fitted them, the car feels great and no more waiting for the car to pump up of a morning. I got them through Rory at Rutherford & Bond Toyota in NZ by far the cheapest they were $1089aus for the pair delivered, apparently there was a price rise early this year of about $100nz per strut. Next on the list is a custom towbar.

Can I put my hand up too, if all the other sales/offers fall thru, I'll be interested in the towbar aswell Rich.
And sorry to steal your post Jarrod.
I have coilovers in mine, and if I have a car load of bodies, i bottom out.
Mine is set up to be a softer ride than normal when using coilovers.
I guess it doesn't help much, but if you consider going the coilovers, get them set up so that you can tow, without losing too much of the comfort, and jarring your spine when passing over painted road lines when the rear is not loaded.
The other thing that I also understand is that most towbars will only handle so much weight pushed down on the neck. So when you load a trailer, the weight distribution should be equal over the wheels of the trailer. You'll know this when you lift the hitch and you dont bust your balls, the front of the trailer should be light to lift, even with a huge load, kind of like a see saw effect. I understand that towbars have their strength in the pulling of the load, ie the horizontal strain, not the vertical weight.
