I was driving to work this morning and the car let all the air out of the system. I put the car up on the hoist at work and it looks like the pump is still working, but there is air coming out of what looks to be a pressure release valve. I held the valve shut with my finger but the car still didn't raise up. I'm not really sure whats going on.

Turns out it was the pump its working, but just not enough to lift the car. I am now looking for a second hand pump. I was quoted $950nz delivered to australia for a new one.
