Lawrence, I agree, and I've seen the odd bit o' bollocks here in NZ!.
For instance there was a popular commedian: B illy-T-James, who owned a Mark II Ford Zephyr. He died, car came up for sale with much Hoo-Har, as in the purveyor of said Zephyr wanted a premium price, because it had been owned by a "Celebrity" (bling!bling!).
If I recall correctly, the seller was dismayed that the car DIDN'T reach his reserve.
