Ive never used a TEMS equipped Celsior or Soarer but from many sources on the internet ive seen that theres a switch in the boot for the TEMS to be switched off? So what i was wondering is what happens if you turn it off - let the car deflate then drive it around with the switch still off? Is it bad for it at all?

If the air suspension has trouble with a trailer attached then maybe BUT make sure there is plenty of pressure in them first. I've heard of people pulling trailers with no trouble at all.

Just for clarity, TEMS and air bags are different things. Coil-sprung TTs may (do?) have TEMS. My understanding is that the boot switch controls the pump to the suspension air bags, switching it off and locking the bags at current setting.
Whether you are supposed to turn off the air system to tow a trailer I have no idea and have not thought about it. Never towed anything in my life and am not about to start.

V8 TEMS air suspension: I just towed a trailer a bit over 1000km over the weekend with about a ~60kg'ish towball weight, about 500kg trailer weight, and it towed damn impressively. I could not see any reason why there would ever be a problem with trailer weight that another car would not suffer from.

I was driving along today and came across a standard soarer parked. The back was fully droped while the front was still up. Is this a sign of leaking air bags in the back?
Don Bagnall Moderator New Zealand I have LESS Soarers than Hayden :-(

Yeah.. Perhaps that was the case.
It was interesting last night I saw 3 soarers parked or driving along after I viewed the celsior. One was immaculate - a shinny green one looked like it had a reversing camera so must have been a uzz31 or even 32.
Then I saw two shocking condition ones. The one with the back down had paint loosing its shine, head lights totally fogy. Its ridiculous how people buy these and just throw them around like they are some rubbishy 80's Nissan!
Next one I saw was in a car park next to me. It was one of the worst soarers I have ever seen - ever. The paint was so dull and covered in grime everywhere! Front bumper was out of position, the rear exhaust pipes were all out of shape and discolored, dents all over the place, paint marks from other hitting doors against it. The interior was filthy - bits and pieces of paper and the owner’s stuff everywhere, the leather dash and center console arm rest had that yellow-green dirt film on it, arghh it was horrid. I’ve said it a few times but just can get over how people buy these ones Mint cars and just let them run down so much.

Soarers do have TEMS both on the Airbag suspension (Uzz31) and the GT-TL Jzz30 although they are different systems. Im not sure about the Uzz31 system but AFAIK the system with the coil suspension is just a piezo (sp?) valve which contracts when an electrical current is applied. The valve limits the amount of fluid that can pass through the shock/damper (ie a smaller hole) and therefore adjusts dampening rates....presumably the airbag system just limits the flow of air instead of fluid?
