For those of you who are unfamiliar with the terminology used above, a quick translation.
NB all prices quoted were in Pacific Pesos!
Scruffy = A very experienced but well used Ewe Minty = Virgin Ewe, very rare on the South Island Flash as a rat with a gold tooth model = Really attractive Ewe, a photogenic beauty with options like "edge of cliff mode"
I never knew prices were so high across the Tasman.

I have a MKI LS400 and a TT Soarer. I keep telling myself that running two cars is ruinous and that I have to sell the LS as I'm spending so much on upgrading the Soarer. But every time I get in the LS I know that I can't let it go. The Soarer is a fantastic car but the LS is just so smooth and effortless. I'm going to a TIF meet this morning and I'll be taking the LS because it's a 250 mile round trip on motorways. I have never driven a car that suits motorway driving so well.

I only have the Soarer, so can't really compare the two. Adam, you say power vs luxury... well before buying my pride and joy, i was going to buy a BMW 318is, and i tell you that the Soarer has a lot more luxury than the 'luxury' car. Therefore i have come to the conclusion that Soarer = Luxury + Power.
PS. I still want to have a drive of the Celsior, to really see this difference that everyone talks about.

Maybe we can have a Lets drive Peter Scotts Celsior day I would like to drive one also as it may be my next car. Us oldies need some luxury before the wheelchair arrives

A mate of mine has a celsior, compared to my TT its so quiet and smooth. If we have to go any distance its the Celsior all the way, but it just doesnt have the poke under the right foot to do it for me.

I have taken a couple of Celsiors for test drives around Brisbane. They are alot quieter than a TT soarer or a UZZ31. It is almost un-natural the way they seem to absorb sound. The cabin is super quiet. They seem to have softer suspension than the UZZ31.
The C F pack Celsiors are great fun if you have a driver. The extra stuff in the back is very cool.
I think all the little extras that are in these cars make them even more special. Examples: Power head rests, electronic adjustable seatbelt height, ultrasonic mirror.
The celsior "cocoon's" you, its a very nice place to be for a long time. But as Greg says they don't have the get up and go as much as a TT.
Still, they have plenty of power for most people.
If it was me I would pick the Celsior over a Soarer for a daily drive car, but I'd have to keep a VVT-I JZZ Soarer in the garage for the weekends
