Jeff, I really hate when you waffle on with such long winded answers, come to the point man! Be concise don't rabbit on, just get to the issue at hand, don't write a bloody novel just tell the asker what he needs to know and leave it....er....what....OH!.....bye!

To re-kindle this post.......... How about a Torsen diff centre out of a Soarer? Will just the centre fit the celsior?

anybody know if the celsior/ls400 diff is shared with any other models? (like the G series diff is used on the a70 supra's, some cressida's, and the centers can fit into hilux and hiaces etc) so far i have not heard about the celsior diffs being used in any other model.

nope. Already looked at this. Nothing is interchangable without changing the housing, and probably the brackets, not sure about the spline

So is there no hope to have a LSD in a Celsior bolt-in sorta job?

abit of a shame, there is usually some model that has an interchangeable diff. I guess im happy enough having the smoothness of an open diff, and traction control to apply the brakes to the slipping wheel to in effect make it behave like an LSD. (works a treat getting up steep wet slippery roads, and on one occasion up a very steep rocky dirt road to my mums place in the bush. Most cars get bogged up this atrocious road)

Are we able to just interchange the diff centres rather then the whole diff?
