I have gutted out the standard balljoint guts and fitted a high load top of the line PTFE lined stainless steel bush that is alkaline , acid , solvent and oil resistant bush the same as they use on the V8 supercars . Only had to bore the standard unit out a little bit and also machine a circlip groove to hold it in place . Will have a pin that bolts into the bush with the standard taper and thread on the bottom to fit into where the standard unit went . As a replacement control arm is Aus$1006.78 and still Aus $500.00 landed from the States this is a great alternative , cost will be around Aus $250.00 including the machining and in 5 or more years the bush can be replaced for about $98.00 . Very Appy !!

Rob I have given up on it becuase of the Arnotts replacements now availiable , the cost of the ball joint is $90.00 alone plus boring it out in a mill [ at least 40 Mins to set it up ] and then the cost of replacement bushes at $78.00 each X 4 for the set!! The bushes in the Arnotts ones are steel rubber steel and bonded inner and outer , plus a new ball joint all for Aus $150.00 a side , just not worth it anymore , it would have been cheap compared to new arms even at US prices . Boompa has had his in now for about 6 weeks and they are awesome , time will tell with regards duration .
