Completely awesome !!
Got them yesterday and the whole top section [ 75 mm deep ] is billet alloy , no top rubber section to eventually deteriorate and leak , even the TEMS motor drive bracket is alloy billet .
Extremely well made , certainly not a backyard 5 second job , very impressed .
Fitted them last night , everything lined up like it should .
The road test was even better than I imagined , even when I first got the car i used to run the TEMS on hard , it's now the same with the TEMS on the standard setting . the airbags seem even more responsive !!
Worth every cent as they are a better unit than even new Lexus struts and they are rebuildable which the genuine units are not .

Another pic .
Also note the rubber pad on the top , much better than just a 1.6 mm plate !!
that will reduce the NVH even more .

$1,300 is good... 2 factory ones would be $1,800.

Are they completly new or reco'd and modified ?

Would be good if they done em for the Soarer.

Neil I had blown both airbags on my Celsior , I fitted a borrowed unit from a mate who had bought a Celsior about 5 years ago , way before most knew what a Celsior was !!
Anyhow it came with the struts still in and the dash , try that now !!
When my right unit also went I bought one for $150.00 in a hurry and it had " R " stamped on the top , this was because the air inlet was a few degrees off center so therefore it must have a left and a right , I was still able to fit it , just had to grind the hole in the strut tower a bit bigger , Celsior struts have the air inlet dead centre , so there is no left and right and as such nothing is stamped on the top , my point is that that strut came out of either a Soarer or a Crown [ I can't know that ]which means that if it came out of a Soarer then you will be able to fit a Celsior unit in your Soarer , the only difference being in the location of the air hole and that can easily be fixed by fitting a 90 degree fitting straight in the strut and using a common old brass air line hose joiner to extend the length of the hose , I already have one in my right hand line....no probs !!
If you need some more info send me an E-mail and I'll send you my number .

rich, when you say -"so there is no left and right and as such nothing is stamped on the top"

does this mean you can install a left hand rear airbag on the rear right?

Sorry Sam only the fronts are centralised , the rears are most definitely left and right and as such have an "L" and a "R" stamped on them .
