My name is Daniel and this is my introduction since I purchased my Soarer in Feb 06. I am the proud owner of a blue Limited 92 V8 uzz31. I'm in Melbourne, based in Tullamarine to be precise. I currently am awaiting pics for everyone's viewing which will arrive very soon. It has all the features of a Limited with no obvious problems so far! Yep no blinky dash! Touch wood..!! Mods? Just a 6000k HID conversion and loving it. Planned mods? Mainly cosmetic. Upgrade to a 97' look. Also new ICE when the finances are ok and exhaust. Thats it for the mean time. I must compliment the site and all members which offer such a wealth of knowledge on these timeless looking cars. It has been thoroughly enjoyable browsing through various posts' and threads since I purchased the car early this year. Looking forward to chatting with everyone here. Feel free to drop me an email at any time! Cheers everyone!!!

Hey Chaminda. Nope none as yet. Looking through the Intellexual website have spotted the Wald kit which I like. Its a subtle yet classy look to the car though doubtful anyone here manufactures them. So at this stage looking to source a second hand 97' kit. At the moment the body is stock.

Daniel, you are right. No one manufactures Wald kits in Australia, although you can get them imported. You'll need a pretty deep pocket for them though. Also, a second hand '97 kit upgrade will also be pretty hard to source. Not much late model wrecks around in Australia. You're best off buying them brand new from Toyota mate. There's a thread somewhere that will state the entire cost of a full late model kit upgrade. Can't find it for the life of me though. Also, welcome to the club

97 Bar - $588.20 2x Fog Lights - $571.00 97 Grille - $233.80 Now keep in mind your foam bumper insert won't fit the new one...I think it is $80.00 And your Foggy's will need wiring like spotlights.

Don! Would you have an idea on $ for 97 side skirts and rear bar? Will they be painted to your colour or will it be raw?

Don ive found 97 front/rear bars, grill, fog lights and tail-lights easy to come by but side skirts is a different story altogether. unless im the only one here that hasnt looked properly?

I find that rather strange. I got a driver's side door sill infill and they told me that black would cost a few dollars extra. Why is that? More prepping needed before painting? Cost of paint?

It makes the bottom of the door match up with the skirting, as the standard door curves in too much.
