You can modify the TEMS suspension to put it in "all firm all the time" mode, just by putting a jumper across. I got this from somewhere on the web, copied here:
1) Disconnect battery 2) Open diagnostic port 3) Using diagram under cover, locate jumpers Ts and E1 4) Find a bit of wire (I used fuse wire) and ram home the wire between the two jumpers linking them up 5) Reconnect battery, be ready with your alarm fob to turn off the alarm 6) Turn the key and you will see a square block come up to the right of the scroll display/clock.
Also, you could wire the jumper to an in-cabin switch so you can toggle it. In the end though, the soarer adapts to what you give it when in sport mode, so I doubt you need to modify it unless you are a really hardcore driver.
In any case, welcome! Your car is really clean, a very nice pickup!

its not really as clean as the pic is pretty good few imperfections in the paint but the car was made in 91 wat do you expect. im heaps happy with it..better on fuel than my old mans vy anyhow and double the power.
is there any recommended mechanics for soarers in adelaide. im out north if that helps (craigmore)
