Your English is good compared to some (lazy) people we get on this forum.
The car looks good as well.

No matter what people say, I still like the FSG colour especially in the right light.

I've got to learn English punctuation properly. There's something wrong with the above but an extra comma just seems not quite right.

The Russians are invading, Arrrghh!

Sorry, I have always wanted to say that. Damn cold war ended before I got the chance.

Man, I never would have thought the Soarer had found a garage in so many countries.

Mihail, Soarers seem to be finding homes all over the world, I'm in Canada, and imported my Soarer about 2 months ago.

Peter, I don't know the exact complexity of adding something like this but on a Canadian GTR forum they have a map that shows the locations of all members cars.

http://www.frappr.com/gtrc

I was wondering if there was a possibility of something similar?

Unfortunately not. It's a plug-in for VB forum software, but there isn't anything like it available for Discus.

While Discus gives us the most streamlined and functionally effective base to build a forum on, it doesn't have the bells and whistles available in some other products.

I have a look around every few months, but every time I find something that looks nice, I also wonder how I would live with out the unique features of Discus eg the way the "New Posts" works, the flexibility of our user profiles etc.

For sure, I wouldn't want the forum changed, I love it's current arrangement, I just thought it was an interesting feature.

Apparently the mythical next version of Discus will have a bit more flexibility in being able to make plug-ins.

It's not so hard, but tricky...
You can't just buy Soarer in Japan and take it home because of ridiculous import customs fees (don't know how you call it - the money you pay then you importing a car).
Legally a would have to pay about $8000 US for a $3000 car!! 3000 + 8000 - it's to much!
So we did it as "constructor's set" - body and engine comes separately, and docs are done for an old car of same model, say, 1983 Soarer, as if I have changed both the body and the engine. Thus I have a 1995 Soarer with passport of 1983's... Crazy.
And things are much more complicated.
The road tax...
The Law says that every republic can divide or _multiply_ the federal road tax by 5 times.
And the tax measures by... what do you think? Horse Powers! That's it the more powerful your car is the greater is the tax. Isn't it beautiful?
Unfortunately, Bashkortostan, where I live has the most rip-of road tax - 5 times larger than the federal. And legally I have to pay $5,5 x 280 = $1540 a Year. But for a 90HP russian bucket-o-bolts it's about $60!! I don't know how much do you pay, but with our incomes (mine is 10000 for year and it's pretty high for about 80% of population. Off course I have some freelance jobs from time to time, but it's so unstable) $1540 is TOO MUCH!
So I have to do some trickery semi-illegal stuff... Like LOWERING my HP, in docs only.

Anyway, it's a Soarer, so I can take some difficulties :-)

Hehe, sounds like Russian and Polish people are very much similar when it comes to 'dodgy business' Good thing about those two countries is that the authorities don't do things there by the book, you can slip them some $$ and they will turn a blind eye!

Your road tax system is sort of similar to what it is (or used to be) in Poland. They charge based on the engine capacity, rather than power, and it's all exponential too!

That's a trick that a lot of people use to get around importation laws, You separate the engine from the car then import it as a project chassis or similar then reassemble. I'm in the process of finding out if i can do that with a MKIV Supra.

Good luck Mihail.
