Hi, I'm Craig, I have had my SC400 V8 since Xmas, and love it more than my dog!. It's White with 19inch rims, after market computer, that allows you to lower or raise the suspension........good fun!. Also in the process of redoing entire interior, changing to black and white, will send pics soon. Does any one know how I can change my seatbelts and steering wheel to black?. I can't find any............cant wait to chat!

Craig, you need to make sure you follow the forum rules. Make sure you break you text into sentences. Use the full stop and comma buttons, as well as the enter key to maybe do some paragraphs as well. Most people on the forum will tell you this, and if you keep doing it your posts will not be read.
Of course the worst case scenario is having your post deleted by the powers that be.

WHOA haha sorry. Pen will be along shortly to slap you on the wrist for the above paragraph.
Problem is that when the post is hard to read or understand most people wont even bother to try. So if you have a legitimate problem and you're looking for help, people may (will) just ignore the post.
The black and white interior sounds interesting as I have had thoughts about doing a two tone black and creme color interior too. Put up pics as soon as you can.
Also post a pic in your profile so we can all see your pride and joy.
to the forum, it's one of the most important resources that you can find when you own a Soarer.

Hi Craig,
welcome to the club mate you are now in dangerous territory ! haha especially if you hang around with nathan .
Regarding your steering wheel, if its not an air bag one and your not overly attached to it, ditch it. Or , just get it retrimmed to suit your car, shouldnt cost too much. im pretty sure you can dye the seat belts also ??

When writing your messages, please use the same courtesy that you would show when speaking face-to-face with someone. Flames, insults, and personal attacks will not be tolerated. It's fine to disagree strongly with opinions, ideas, and facts, but always with respect for the other person. Great minds do not always think alike, and that's where the fun is! Also, note that messages express the thoughts of the writers, not the board or its moderators. (The above text is straight from the rules)
So i think every body should read them every now and then to just refresh our selves to what thay really say.
*I do wonder how some people get a drivers license when they can't present a post at Primary School level. *

Pete,
I think what Lew was trying to point out was that a person with the responsibility to police the rules would use them him self. You say you wouldn't have to send that kind of response if others read the rules just once. So perhaps the rules should say, "Do as I say not as I do" There are other ways of telling first time offenders what is expected.

Craig, your acceptance notice says very clearly at the bottom:
"Thank you again for your registration. We look forward to your participation on Soarer Central. Please Note: it is important that you read both the "FAQ" (Frequently Asked Questions) and the "Rules and Policy" - both available near the top of the main Topics page."
The purpose of that second sentence is so people can find out what is expected.
We now have close to 1900 members, most of them have always used common sense and taken a bit of pride in presenting properly, after all, that it is how you would go about any other form of communication with people. Why should we be offered any less respect just because we are using a forum format?
Your "clever" comment is also invalid. If everyone read the rules, then the rules as they are now would be just fine.
I have no idea where Lew quoted his rules from, because I can't find that statement anywhere in the SC Rules and Policy.
However, there is one that has now become relevant to this thread.
