Hey everyone! my friends and i were havin were bored last nite so we thought we'd go for a cruise in our own cars, which was a big mistake coz we ended up parking at a long road and racing! we all raced each other 2 at a time it was alot of fun! the results are as follows. oh i should add that we are all running stock! ill only give the resualts of the big races!

SUPRA NA VS CELICA GT4 ARALLYE awd turbo -winner: supra
(2 car lengths)
SUPRA NA VS Lancer -winner: SUPRA NA
(BY A FREAKIN MILE)

SUPRA NA VS CAMRY -winner: SUPRA NA
(BY A FREAKIN MILE)

SOARER TT VS CELICA GT4 awd turbo-winner: Soarer
(2 carlengths)

SOARER TT VS SUPRA NA winner: n/a 2 much muckin around lol....

i only raced 2 times last nite and i didnt know a na supra had so much balls! i was so shocked! if were were doin a proper race no muckin around im sure after seein it run 2nite the non turbo supra will give me a good run for my money. my friends supra will take me on take off since he has a manual transmission and im running a auto but soarer tt's strenth is in the top end speed where im confident in the win!

daymn a twin turbo supra would be freaky......

Hey Dan next time give the G man here a Holla and I'll come for a cruise (or race:-) with you and the boys, just email me and i'll give you my number mate as im in Victoria to and could use another soarer buddy, dont worry Haydn I'll supervise the P platers and make sure the street is clear of elderly people or Pizza delivery drivers before they launch :-)
Hey Luke if I see Vin Deisel I'll be sure to get his autograph for you and rub his bald head :-)
P.s Hope to see as many of you as possible up at Phillip Island this weekend. p.p.s does any body know of any planned Vic cruises any time soon apart from the races at the island as I cant seem to find any current one's here.

Thank's Vinh and Dan! I read the thread and take it the ferry to Geelong got voted out and it's Phillip Island then, well thats all good coz I've always wanted to go to both places so im easy. I live in Glen waverley so I guess i'll be going straight up the monash freeway so if anyone else wants to drive up to the Island then just let me know as it would be cool to have a group driving up there together,so just let me know whos heading up there from my way :-) i'll be bringing my lady so i hope others are as i'll be in the Dog house if i leave her behind plus she is a Soarer fan so all good in the hood :-)

Gotta love it. More f**kwit fodder for the likes of Today Tonight and the rags that pass for newspapers to wind up the pollies. Can't wait to see the same heads pop up bitching about calls for P-plater curfews, power to weight restrictions etc because of speed and street racing related deaths of young people on public roads. Clueless! I can just hear it now...."Boo Hoo, I'm a P-plater and I'm persecuted. Cops suck. Pollies suck".

AMen to that Ollie.... Just have a look at Yesterdays Crash up at Newcastle... L-PLaters driving without a Full licenced Person in the car. They Took the car without the owners Permission, and wrapped it around a pole on a straight road! Tearing the vehicle into 3 pieces. 1 Dead, Another almost and more injured!!!

Oh and the car??? A Pretty stock Vl Commodore Sedan. Non turbo, nothing special. Just another Young person who thought they were invincible. Well, He might have been, but his mate who died when the pole came into his section of the car and removed the other 2 sections of the car wasnt! UNlucky for him. Killed without being able to do anything about it.

At the end of the day, You can take a Toyota Echo down the back streets at 100 in a 50 zone. Problem is, it dont like it. And will probably not stop from 100 in the 25 metres you just allowed yourself, because your a new driver and have no concept of distance control, or knowledge of the vehicles capabilities.

TAKE IT TO THE TRACK. Albeit Circuit or Drag racing. Do it under controlled conditions where there are the right people on Scene if anything goes bad!!!!!!!!!

Why should us Car enthusiasts get SPanked by the Law everytime some young gun kills his mates!!!!

Hey guys it aint no Joke, what Ollie wrote is so true and what Daniel just wrote really hits home hence why in one of my earlier posts i put the

icon as it was to acknowledge Ollie for speaking up, well done gents :-) So to the younger lads please think twice before responding back with a cheap shot. P.s Tim I was agreeing with Ollie so im sure that one vote wasn't aimed at me.
