Hey everyone my name is Caroline, i'm 19 and I live in Brisbane. It's not in my driveway yet but it will be this weekend, I put a deposit on it last night. 1994 Toyota Soarer Twin Turbo. Dark Blue, Sunroof, Automatic, 150,000km, Pod Filter, Coilovers, Vertex bodykit, BOV, seats retrimmed in blue leather, sound system, exhaust tips, lexus badges, boost controller and that's about it. My plans include for the moment some 18in deep dish wheels, FMIC, retrim seats in Pink suede with Louis Vuitton inserts, upgrade sound system, change BOV and that's about it in the short term. You'll have to go for justcars. I got my soarer around your age and no one else would insure me. Hell i don't think anywhere else would insure me now haha

Insurance Companies can discriminate on age. They have the statistics to back them up. Shannons is a good company but if you are under 25 or have too many traffic violations, they wont touch you. It is the only way they can survive!!

Young and cool don't do turbos for under 20's. My only options are just cars or get my parents to insure it in their name, which I enquired about with AAMI and they don't do imported vehicles apparently. So at this stage maybe even thinking that I might just get 3rd party property damage.

Welcome Caroline. I had to go with Just Cars until I was close to 25. Then changed to Shannons, best insurer for imports in my opinion. Car looks great, do you know what make the rear skirt is?

Well updates already Went to see a friend of mine about having the bodykit repaired and sprayed, he gave me a quote and then suggested that I get the whole car resprayed. The body is fairly clean but he made the point that it will be very difficult to match the colours and then pointed out the minor blemishes in the paint already. So I have decided to have the whole car resprayed, in the original colour with a little bit of purple pearl through it. So the car is undergoing it's transformation as we speak and he says I should have it back before the weekend! I will post up some before and after shots when I get the baby back! Took it for a drive on Saturday night up Springbrook and I was very impressed. Slightly unimpressed however that since I only got the car last Friday, my boyfriend has barely let me near it! Apparently it is a nice car to drive So if all goes to plan my sexified car will be heading up Mt Tambo this Sunday with you guys! Oh and just bought some new 17 inch wheels off ebay now I have to get tyres!
