Hi everyone, I do not often post a lot on here but i do read all your messages. I am in SA and have a 1993 4.0 GT V8 soarer, My soarer is metallic green in colour and i live in GOLDEN GROVE number plates of GT 1993. Few soarers up my way. I would like to know from other members what i need to get as a kit for a cam belt change over. I have a great mechanic who i have used since 1990 and he has replaced cam belts on all my previous cars. Can you let me know what kits i need and where to obtain from. Also i will have him inspect water pump for signs or corrosion or leakage and change if necessary. Advise from all you soarer owners is much appreciated. Also i missed out on the last meeting on 7th of Jan. i was in sydney. Well all the best i am looking forward to some good feedback.

While you're at it, do the bearings and the water pump at the same time, as it's a big job, and you have to pull everything off that you've had off again to do it.

Thanks a lot guys. Much appreciated. the rush import site was a good one. Here are some pics of my soarer. Nothing has been changed hence the simple look, i want to keep the car in original condition.
I am thinking of selling the car as i now want to own a twin turbo supra..but judging by the lack of interest in good soarers mine will be hard to sell....
