I just got an SC400. It's got tan interior and 130000kms. It came with the 18's off the SC430 convertible. One owner car, service records and owners manuals(even came withthe 1992 sales brochure). It was in good condition so I picked it up. I plan to store it for now (winter here in Canada and the potenzas spin the second they touch snow), and work also on a BFI. Heres a few pics.

Hi Steven,
good looking car and the wheels look great.
I was in Canada recently, only during November, and spent some time in Toronto and Vancouver. Noticed several early model Soarers 91,92 etc during my travels. All were in very good condition. Its great to see that everyone enjoys these cars world wide and looks after them. Happy cruising.

Hehe, that's where the badge is when it comes out of the factory. I think I've only seen it done correctly over here once.

Steven. It seems that there are quite a few members from Canada now. Nice wheels!

Ahhh Tim, I agree, but with the new facelift in Late '96, they moved the badges to the position where most guys put them today.

So Late '96 on the SC 300/ SC400 should be up on the boot lid, where pre '96 goes in the centre, on the bumper I believe...

Didn't want to start a new thread for this, but my right headlight was out for a re-seal when I decided to make me a BFI. Took me two afternoons to make at a total cost of $0. All the materials (electrical tape, a bit of cardboard, and some EVA scraps) were found around my garage. I did alright for my first one, but this is just a prototype. I'll eventually cut out the whole front of the stock airbox and go over the EVA seams with epoxy. It'll do for now. Here are the pics:

Oh.... and another piece of completely useless information, from late '96, the SC300/ SC400 badge was also 2 piece as well, where the pre-update was 1 piece.

Yeah Bags I just ordered the 2 piece jobbie for the old dunger I just bought.... got to tidy her up somehow

Actually, I might do a part number and placement tutorial about the whole deal as there are a lot of badges floating around on Ebay etc. But the front 'L' is different to the rear in the real world, dunno if anyone realised that (or cared LOL)
