Finally test run my unit tonight!!! Had to pick my jaw up off my chest wheel spinning 295 pirelli p zero's at 90~100kph f***ing scary. We managed 450rwhp @ 22psi(with more to come) on 205x16's stockies spraying rubber out the rear end on the dyno. My new Mv auto full trans and stally will be in within a few weeks ready for the drags, shame the seasons coming to a close

The indicators are some crap that Fibervision moulded in and i probably can't get any more and one of them is stuffed (bad quality) these are being fitted soon, Lexus/Camry last long and easy to replace in future.

Aaron it would probably be cheaper to fly 2 people to Thailand and have a holiday than drive this thing (2 petrol pumps on wheels) to darwin and go drag racing. Which would you choose?

What tyres did you use for the run?

Best I could get out of my car was a 13.2 or something using 275 Azenis :-( Manual transmission too... approx. 350m of burnout.

Using 275 on 17x9"s MT drag radials sticky as lol. Street tyres 295 p zero spin like driving in the wet (useless) I guess manual is harder to get right?

Ahh nice. Massive difference to road tyres. Anyone want to lend me a pair of rear MTs for one trip down the strip?

Manual is insane to get the power down. No joke (ask several of the Eastern Creek runners here) I had no traction in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and most of 4th gear. I managed to pass the line at 124mph however.

Nah, not going to buy a set just for 1 trip down the strip. Drag racing doesn't interest me that much, so I was just curious to see what time I could pull on 'real' tyres.
Hehee, a bit far to drive just for 400m of racing :-)

My ignition system uses the standard coil packs and uses a HKS TwinPower DLI to boost the spark. Haven't had any issues so far. Running NGK-R BKR7E-8 plugs at around 0.7mm gap.

Joe, get that 60 foot down beneath two seconds and you will be in the very low 12s.

They are awesome conditions too. I wouldn't be surprised if you find it tough to get near that MPH again with the same tune etc.
