Hey everybody I just thought I would come by and introduce myself to the group. My name is David I drive a LEXUS SC400 I am interested in meeting any other soarer drivers from Newcastle.

I'm out at Singleton. There is a Hunter Valley Cruise coming up in April. I may be able to get to it. If so I hope to see you there.

Don't worry about this. It is a long running and very pointless argument about badging of cars as either Lexus or Toyota.

David, its good to welcome another Soarer owner from Newcastle, I've seen a couple around over the last few weeks.

As Ben said, there is a Hunter Valley cruise coming up in a couple of weeks (look in the events section for details) - a great opportunity to meet a bunch of other Soarer fans.

Regarding this Lexus vs Toyota thing.. Funnily enough the famous Soarer drifter, Takahiro Ueno, actually has Lexus badges on his drift car (well one of them anyway)

It's badged as a Lexus Soarer from what I can see in his pictures. For those who don't know who he is, he is famous for his drifting capabilities in the D1 series and created the company T&E, which manufactures our beloved Vertex bodykits. Yes, the bodykits that everyone seems to make copies out of.
