Hey hey, The names Sam, current location is Sydney Aus but that is subject to and will change often (thankyou defence force)
Fell in love with the TT soarer first time i drove it and only took me a day to source my first (alluding to more to come...hmmm)
Its an emerald green 91 model TT I'm sure your all familiar with the ins and outs, completely stock, wanted to do my own mods not fix someone elses mistakes.
The bad news is i believe it to be haunted as the day after i bought it the turbo's fkd out, but its okay thats fixed (can get pics if anyone is interested). Then more recently, early june on the queens long weekend holiday, my birthday weekend, a semi trailer crossed my path on a rainy day and i went uhoh *brakes* - *lock n slide* - *impacts semi's front wheel and fuel tank* - *rolls to a stop, driver devastated*
However its just getting finished up at the panelbeaters now and should have it back very shortly. Was actually quite impressed at the way it held up in such a collision, very little crumple, mainly cosmetic damage.
There is a piccy of the resulting damage if you click on my profile and i have more angles and such if any one has a desire to see my heartache and tears.

Well, mostly on top of things but the entire drivers side power window is destroyed maybe/maybe not because of the accident but for the sake of insurance it was, if they refuse to cover it i want to get it done while at the panelbeaters anyway.
And apparently like a lot of people out there I got climate control LCD dramas, chasing up a bloke at lextreme.com for a new LCD and i'll put it in myself when i get it.
Chase up some more pictures this weekend, the dead turbo is stored elsewhere.

OUCH!! Looks like you need a nose job!! Well, it just gives you a reason to look for a whole new ground effect kit!!
That's what i thought, but insurance companies obviously have different perspectives... They didn't even line me up with a new soarer griffon?? emblem for the replaced stock front bar!

Hey i have thoses rims sitting in my garage! one has a hairline crack...
I'm pretty sure those rims have been on the car for like 16 yrs since they were in jap land, hence the missing bolt covers and theres bits of paint/finish/general coating flaking off, nothing really severe, not really worried cause they'll be replaced eventually.

I found my griffin at luxurymods.com for $70.00 and 2 Soarer name plates for $50.00 each. I'm assuming they're made of titanium or platinum for that price!! Talk to Hann and he might cut you a discount on shipping! Good luck in fixing your car mate, because its hard to find good, honest and reliable help these days! It's not like we're spending BAD money either!!

six odd thousand is never BAD money... should get all their hands to drop what they're doing and carefully and skillfully use all resources available to craft back into better nick than stock
