Well it's taken me around 4 years of pining, 1 year seriously going nuts searching the whole of Australia via all media known to man,to find my dream car. I owe the end of my search to SC (which has been my home page since the beginning, after ALSC) and Mr Radbourn of Marlew Performance fame.It all started coming together for me around the beginning of this year, the money became available, Lew posting up a 97 VVTI at a crazy price, and the Gods blessing the whole union.Mind you the car was not complied at the time, it took 3 or so months for that to happen ( I am fairly thin up top, and by the end of the wait I had pulled out a few more hairs ).But come April I flew to greet my baby, she was more beautiful in the flesh, and she got a complete workout thanks to Lew. From the Gold Coast it was one awesome drive to Sydney,on one tank of fuel mind you, and no I was not going slow, then onto Melbourne and then Perth. This Website has been an enourmous help and I can not thank everyone enough here for all your insight and knowledge. My dream came true, and I am proud to be a member.

Peter is correct on those two buttons, not sure if aftermarket or original, wish they came on a bit sooner though,I start hearing a shrill about 60cm away from an object and the closer you get the faster the sound.Tim which lights are you referring to? the two spotties on top are the high beam and the two down low are fog.My brothers' turn on at night when he makes a turn, I thought these did too but when I got the car they initially did nothing.both globes had gone.major pain getting to them, now they turn on from the light stalk,I would have preferred them coming on when I turn at night. Catch you all in a few days and thanks for all the comments, it is one great car, probably the best I have driven so far in this lifetime.

Well, job got canned till Sunday morning now, so here I am.Tim I just realised you were talking about the rear lights, they look alot better in real life, I must admit I do like the 92' model too. I'll be adding an awesome stereo system soon and will be updating my profile shortly. There is only one problem I have with my car and that is my Drivers licence.I usually lose points on my bike for the usual speeding thing and have now got most of them back, just one to go, but everytime I get in the Soarer I have to pray to the speed demons to take it easy or I won't be driving her for long, so far so good, the thing just goes like a frigin rocket and I haven't even done any basic mods.

Very nice, i love the late models! Samy i think it was from 1994 onwards the 'turning-lights' turned into actual 'fog-lights' which come on with a switch.

My SC300 just came out of the body shop today. I had it resprayed from black to graphite silver with a gold pearl, and it looks awesome!!! However, when I went to pick it up I noticed that my rear main seal was blown and my gas light was on!! Oil was coming from my valve gaskets and was filing out my # 5 and #6 spark plugs, leaking oil through my manifold and blowing blue smoke through my exhaust. Some A-hole hot dogged my car!! She's in good hands now with my mechanic and YES somebody is going to pay for it!! I'll post pics as soon as she comes out!!

The owner of the shop swears up and down that NOBODY but him drives the cars. The gas light was on, which in 10 years I've never known it worked!!! I told him that I would never drive 50 miles with the car in THAT condition and that low on gas (petro)!! I've contacted my attorney and we'll see what happens next. Good help is SO hard to find. These guys came recommended!
