Hey all,

Just saying hi from the berra where i very recently purchased my first car, '92 lexus sc400. I am in love, was crushed yesterday when my friend accidentally snapped the interior passenger handle. I'm in the process of getting the part sent to a place here.... this all happened with the first 24 hours of having the car...

Was impressed with my buy, after many weeks of car searching i stumbled upon this one in a private sale car yard. I got this baby for $8900 in immaculate condition, mechanically as sound as a 90's car can be and with just over 122 000k's on it.

Not so impressed when i got the insurance quote.... under 25 female in a v8....

Anyway i am LOVING my car, and am willing to pay the $$ to be cruising the streets in this baby!

Charmaine, sounds like you now have the Soarer Grin.

Get some pics up of the car when you have time. :-)

Hi Charmaine, good luck with the car. But if you have any problem with it, go to Autotech, 5 Silva Avenue, Queanbeyan. (Neil Griffiths workshop who also is a member here), he is the man to talk too when problem occur.

Charmaine, welcome to the board and congrats on an awesome car.

Dont worry about the interior door handle, I am already onto my 3rd handle, they are sadly a fragile component, and a lot of people forget the doors auto-lock, and if it doesn't open, the start pulling harder on the handle.

I am very quick now to unlock the doors when letting people in and out, otherwise damage starts to occur.

Let me know if you need a hand installing the new handle, they are dead easy and I travel to canberra HEAPS with work and friends.

B.
