Hey guy just went to nsw and picked up my new soarer its a
1994 Toyota soarer 5speed
Pearl white respray
18in wheels (need new wheels they are gold and got bad gutter rash)
Tein coilover's
Bov
Pod filter
Inter cooler
apexi afm
Turbo timer, boostguage, and boost controller
Tinted windows
Brass button clutch
Catch can
full 3in exhaust to 2.5 twin system and short shifter
But the only problem is when you boost it to say 13-15psi it hesitates and surges then goes again and boost hard i took the boost controller off now it boost to 12psi fine any thought's

Michael, that surge is you hitting boost/fuel cut, which is definitely not good for the engine.

yeah just took the boost controller off and it boost 12psi now thanks for that

I work in Campbell St, and drive to work, so you may have seen me, but it would have been around 8am this morning and mine dont exactly stand out.
I really need to lower it, up for a cruise sometime soon? Are you yourself new to hobart?

The car looks great Michael. It is at a good height too. Just paint your calipers a different colour (either silver or black).Also, get your rims repaired and repainted(black, silver or gold) as they look hot. You have a very nice car, enjoy it

Yeah going to get wheels fixed soon and thinking black for the calipers. Also going to move the boost gauge to the pillar with a oil temp gauge but need to find a nice 2 gauge holder first

I wish it was just one side he did all 4 just as bad yeah going to cost bout $50 a wheel to be machined then 150 to spray all 4 so that not to bad i guess.

I Wanna also get the rear guards rolled and put some 265 on the rims as they are 9 1/2 wide with 245 stretched on them.
And try and stop it under steering also noticed it has braided brake and clutch lines today.

I used car paint cut and polish on my headlights yesterday and they came up a treat. Didn't take long either.
Tasmania has been one of my favourite parts of the world for over 35 years
