{Hey guys, after the second attempt to register i have been successful

Ok i do not own a Soarer but have always loved them and just could not afford a manual version.

So my other favourite car is the BMW E30 (83-91) simply for the shape and feel of its drive.

Wanting power i chose a 1JZ out of a 95 Soarer.

It took a while and a little bit of work to get it in but it worked.

Drove around for 3 months with the only mods a 3" turbo back and a 600x300x76 fmic.

Loved the look on faces of people surprised when a 318i badge flies past them or they line me up at the lights which reminds me, who owns a black Soarer with 19" chrome wheels in the St.George area?

I raced this bloke down near Newtown?

Anyway i have taken enough time and space on this thread but the car has been in the workshop for 7 weeks now and is almost finished (Waiting on Cihan's goodies) with the new set up :

- 320mm VE SS brakes cross drilled/slotted and VE SS twin pot callipers.
- 3.5inch dump into 3 inch mandrell bent exhaust.
- Garrett GT3540R with a 0.63 rear for quicker spool and better lower end.
- Custom manifold.
- Sard 800CC injectors.
- GReddy Emanage Ultimate ECU.
- GReddy cam gears.
- GReddy 3 Bar MAP sensor.
- 600x300x76 FMIC.
- Turbosmart 48mm ProGate wastegate with screamer vented into atmo.
- GReddy oil catch.
- Walbro internal fual pump.
- Bosch 044.
- HPI triple stage electronic boost controller.
- GReddy FATT turbo timer.
- 2JZGTE water pump.
- Gates timing belt.
- GFB Stealth BOV (adj between atmo and recirculating).
- Brand new harmonic balancer.
- New silicone hoses and v-clamps.

I am sure i have missed out on a few things but will let you know once i remember.

Cant wait for this thing to finish its light 1250kg and has balls.

The pics are quite large so i will upload them to tinypic 1st and add the url.

Love the site and all the info keep it coming.

Thanks guys.

Will get pics up asap.

Mustafa the harmonic balancer cost me just under $400 from toyota.

But that was after stupid me bought a second hand one and it exploded ruining my radiator, smashing my altornator and damaging the oil cooler.

Buy a new one its worth it.

Interesting combo...would like to see the donk in its hidie hole, and the car in which it gets carried around in, for that matter.

Hey Francisco,

Yeah it is an unusual set up but the japs and germans seem to make a great couple.

My mate also has a very similar setup in his E30 BMW but he opt for the VVT-i version.

He has the GT3040r and at 120kmh when he taps it the thing cant stop burning the rubber nor keep straight.

I have plenty of pics of both and some videos too.

I am a night shifter and my net at home is blocked for excessive downloads of erm amm lets just say video clips.

I will upload them asap as work blocks large uploads for security crap.

Shouldn't be too much longer.

p.s

I have pics of it before i started with the above bolt ons on another site but unsure if i am allowed to link it here?

No problems with pics Abbas, better if you can upload them here, or link if you can't. :-)

No figures just yet because the wiring harness i got was for a different ECU.

So until then the car is stationary.

Enjoy the pics...
