which seems to be the same car, but with diff rego??
anyway, i was just wondering what you all thought about this?
i originally was just going to buy a 94TT for about 14 and spend a little on it doing it up. But..meh~ if i can find one with a little bit of work done on it, well... that saves me time.
i'm going to ring them up after work and have a talk about them both.
anyway. this whole thread probably makes little sense i'm good at that.

I think that they are both a bit pricey for what they are. If your going to spend that sort of money, you should be able to find a bit better than that. The first one is a 4 speed auto, not a 5 speed. If you can drive a manual, than look for a manual one. A lot more fun, and they hold their value better also. Bit harder to find, but well worth it in the long run. My 2 cents anyway.

i would stick to a stock one and do it up my self, at least this way you know what condition the car is. however i would accept mods like exhaust, front mount, BOV and that sort of stuff.

yeah, i swear both those ads are the same. i went and checked out the second one (not the plates "gtt") and i asked him it it was the same as the other ad. he said no no no no no, then i rang up the first ad and asked but it had been sold. sold for 16ish..
anyway..
the car~ second one~ had a quick look at it and the clear layer has started to get cancer. also, well, i know absolutely jack all about the tech/mech side of cars. when the car was on and in idle there was a tapping. mate said it was the tappets, he has the same in his tt supra.
do i worry about this? how much is that crap to get fixed?
oh the best part!!! you cant take it for a test drive until you either pay for it or get finance and have it approved and confirmed. hah~
