For years I was the fastidious owner of many a Ford falling in love with the old school TX3 Lasers, but some how there is a new vehicle residing in my garage.... a '97 2.5l VVTI Turbo Soarer GT-T. Totally stock with even the original Japanese rego sticker and parking ticket under the car mat this vehicle has never failed to impress me. You should all be proud to own such a well put together vehicle. Additionally I swear I'll punch the next person that asks me 'is it a Jag?' and what is the little red button on the centre console??? Look forward to meeting the other WA members (seems to be plenty of you...)

I cant comprehend how people dont know what it does, I found that with one of the TT soarers I test drove, the 3 year owner asked me what it does... I had to explain twice!!

I guess a lot of people might be scared to press it if they dont know what it does, as its a a big red button with japanese scribbled on it you think it would do something more exciting than its actual use!

Oil slick release.
I've actually had cause to use it (in its function as a park release override, not as an oil slick releaser) on several occasions - mostly when I've wanted to move the car a few feet in the garage without hopping in or without the keys.
