Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all of the useful info. Just bought another soarer TT, this being the third soarer that I have owned (1 v8 & 2 TT's). They are a very addictive and fun car to own. Have just done the Cruise control, headlight cleaning and Door buzzer mods from the tutorials on this site. So once again thanks.

My first was a TT that I sold and Bought back 9 months later than I had the V8 for a while but missed the TT performance to much and now have finally got another TT, Its not in the best condition but I plan to change that.

Rob
There's truth about the fun that we have behind the wheel of the TT.
I have a Toyota badged TT...love it. But sadly haven't done any of the simple mods to put an end to those annoying traits that these JDM cars possess.
After 19months, I still sit on 108km while everyone else zooms by!
Still put up with the door buzzer when I've got the stereo blaring and the doors open...I just worked out that I just turn the volume up, and can't hear the door buzzer. All part of the fun!!
But I did do the headlights, both to improve the appearance, and most importantly to see at night, cos I still find that the beam is still crappy.Just didn't want to stick spotties on it. Don't think it will do much for its appearance.
Anyway, enough about me. Welcome, and be great to see some photos of your new pride and joy.

I just had a look at your car, very nice. Take the time to do the cruise control mod, it is definitely worth it. I will get some pictures up soon but mine looks very plain at the moment (stock). Hopefully getting some new wheels this month.

Well I have just taken the car to WSID and got a
13.7@102.24mph, Curently the car has FMIC, 13psi, Pod filter and 3" inch cat back single exhaust.
Any suggestions for the next upgrade, please note am trying to stay to a budget but would love to get into the 12's eventually.

i would say either the rest of the exhaust or go for a fuel computer to gain some extra power out of it. Or a boost controller.
