... and it's one of the best cars I've ever had the pleasure of driving! It will never top my mum's 2003 BMW 330i, but there's a distinct difference in price and age there!
But all in all, the Soarer is so much fun to drive, and I'm glad I finally found a Japanese car I actually like. I'm weird; I like Jap bikes and don't like their cars, and love American muscle cars but hate Harleys and Buells. But the Soarer - there's something I can dig.
A bit about me - I'm 25, from Bendigo in Vic, currently at Uni studying to become a primary school teacher, on summer hiatus at present looking for a job which will pay money to spend on the new toy! I ride bikes as well, I just sold my Suzuki GSX750F this year to put money towards a Soarer. Girlfriend doesn't want me on bikes too much anymore, because I'm a bit of a speed demon. So I just keep it to the track these days - my dad and I share a fully worked 2002 GSX-R750 to fang around Broadford and Sandown. Yet to do the Island - it's a bit of a pilgrimage from Bendigo!
Anyway, I love the fact that SMS shorthand will get your posts deleted. Not enough forums do this - END THE BASTARDISATION OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE HERE AND NOW!

Thanks guys!
Yes Peter, I do have a Soarer grin... just got back from a run to the bottle shop and supermarket, and man that car is fun to drive.
So easy to get around parking lots too... I'd be really keen to drive an Active to see what the difference is. Lately I've been borrowing my girlfriend's mum's Camry to run errands, and that thing has a worse turning circle than a one-ton HQ! The Soarer shreds it to pieces - so what's an Active like?

Thanks for the welcome guys. Regarding that Camry I was borrowing pre-Soarer: I had to move it out of the driveway so I could take the Soarer out... what a piece of crap! I felt like I was sitting in a baby's high chair, the door was so light I was scared I broke it, and the steering was as heavy as a Mack truck! And this is only backing a car down a driveway and into a shed.
I'm not buying another car unless it's worth $200,000...

This is why I'm in love with the Soarer - look at the paint. Not freakin bad for a bog-stock 1992 model car!
This picture was taken the day after I got her - looking a little grubby from sitting in a driveway for a few months. It got a wicked rain wash the night I picked her up, since it totally pissed down in buckets that night in Melbourne.
Then the good weather came - so I used the Meguiars three-step system and the mother of all spring cleans in and out of the car. Used the headlight cleaning tutorial too, came up trumps!
