Hey all, I've picked up my first TT Soarer, 1993. It's in pretty mint condition, runs as it should and is fairly standard. I drove 22 hours in one day to acquire this car and it was well worth it And for the low low price of $4000nzd how could I say no?

Nah I live in Wellington and I drove with my mates (who happend to be going to the big day out) up to Auckland in a 1500cc Familia... Good times. I probably spent about 5 hours or so mucking around on the way, once there and on the way back. And yeah I got it from trademe. Long story short, I got myself a GT4 Celica (with 88000ks) for around a grand, best score of my life. Put on a B.O.V, pod, boost tap, 10000ks and sold it for a tidy $4500 ;) So I went browsing around TM and saw my car for $4200, rang the guy and said I'll be up nest week to take it. He even knocked $150 off the price and filled it up for me, nice guy But on the whole, I'm stoked with the car, although havin all that power on a two wheel drive car is aking some getting used to haha all my previous turbos have been 4WD.

dude i saw this car on trade me and you got a real good deal. it looked very tidy, and it is pretty light for a soarer. from memory, no ABS, no TEMS, no sunroof? you just saved 60kg! all the best.

No ABS??
Tim - i think i saw you and a mate at the Featherston St Shell station at the end of last month (Mon 28th Jan)? I recognise the rims. I was in the heinous gold Toyota Aurion (Avis rental for the weekend) filling up tyres with racing air... Nice to see another Soarer in town. Look after it!
