Hey guys, Just popping in here to say giday and post of a few pics of my new soarer. It's 1991 UZZ31 with 99,000ish kms on the clock. The only plans I have for it are to are to get some VFT bushes fitted to it and eventually replace the rims as well (really like the ones on there but there are some gutter rashes and missing caps on 2 wheels).

Cheers mate, can't say the same for the lawn I'm afraid . Should point out all those faded looking things on the bodywork are actually clouds and not dodgy paint respray (probably shouldn't have polished it before taking photos in the sun!).

Cheers guys! I'm not related to anyone who had anything to do with Hesketh motorcycles or the Hesketh F1 team that I know of, though all of my family are English (except myself!) so who knows . How does your Soarer hold up to the red dust up North Mike? I've seen it do some terrible things to some damn nice cars in the past.

It's not that bad here, Ben, and the dust doesn't show all that much over Pearl White. We're pretty civilised in Exmouth, with mostly tarred roads
I'm more worried about the water quality- this time of year the water dries rapidly and leaves white water marks everywhere. Not so visible on the Soarer, but horrible on the dark wine Rexton.
Other than the occasional run to Carnarvon or across to the Ningaloo coast (150km round trip!) we don't drive it all that much. It's nice to be able to get it up to a decent speed though, after 3 years on Norfolk Island, with 50km/hr limit!
