well from victoria british columbia, canada.
I am a commercial transport mechanic by trade and build drag/auto x hondas for a hobby/passion. seeing as my current car will do mid 11's i need a daily driver that could match it, yet be comfortable. enter my soarer, the first car i bought pre-built. After a week im fully accustomed to the right hand drive, but not quite yet to the rear wheel drive.
after going through the car, this is what I have discovered.
Motor: Built Bottom end, could not tell type of pistons or rods through bore scope Stock Head Greddy Tubular Single Turbo Manifold Garret t-78 unknown aftermarket injectors larger throttle body hks ssqv bov hks front mount intercooler 3" downpipe cat 4"hks super dragger exhaust hks f con type s management twin plate clutch
The Rest:
abs delete apparently a trd rear lsd tein coilovers slotted rotors on stock size brakes vertex body kit unknown spoiler/rear valence fiberglass fenders/hood debadged bride drivers seat wald 18" vip style wheels rear unibody is stitch welded/pop riveted aftermarket red anodized fuel pump that hums quite nicely. (please dont ask how i had to find that one out)
except for a leaking water pump this car runs top notch and pulls exceptionally. made 356 rwhp at 6200 rpm and 349 wheel torque at 4500 rpm on 1.2 bar it kept climbing but we didnt feel safe taking it to redline.

fuel pump story, day after i get the car i find myself on an empty road and id yet to put the car through its paces. so i get on it and hit speed cut at 180 km/h and the car just dies. i was unsure so i disconnected the battery, reflashed the ecu, did just about everything i could on the side of the road.
neighbour rescues the day with his tow truck and gets me home after going over them motor ot make sure nothing popped off i spend about 2 hours looking into electronics and get frustrated. figured id go old fashioned, fuel spark air, pull off the upper charge pipe and turn over, no go, pull out a coil group and check for spark, theres spark! pull a plug and no fuel!.check at the rail, nothing! check at the rear filter, and nothing!
popped the rear seat and wallah, the rubber line going from the pump to the hard line inside the car had popped off when my injectors closed via speed cut.
5 hours for a dinky hose that slipped off!

Hi Richard, You live in a beautiful part of the world. My wife and I have friends that live in Victoria and have visited twice in as many years. I must admit that we were there in August, early Sept both times and the weather was magnificent. Our friends assured us that it is different in January. Sure is a great looking car you have. Look after it and I'm sure you'll have many a fine time driving it.

Wow Richard! Nice to see another Soarer in Victoria. Taking pictures a block from my home no less! I think I might have caught a glimpse of your car a while back shortly before I got mine. Did you do your dyno run at Zensport? I'll be getting some numbers there once I've thrown a little money at the engine.
