G'day!
Up until now I've got my jollies from sports bikes. The recent hail storm in Blacktown wrote off the old Landie, so a quick chat to a mate and he sold me his baby (he needs to keep the heirloom in the family!):
* 1994 UZZ31 gt ltd V8
* Black on black leather interior in very good nick
* Winter pack
* EMV (but touch screen ignores my fondling)
* r154 manual conversion
* 18" mesh rims
* Black paint is good from far but far from good...needs a good buff for starters
* Turbosmart mufflers, sound is just right...
I have the following plans for the car
* Supercharger kit (6.5 psi) is on order...hopefully it will be in within a fortnight
* BFI
* Install after market height controller which cam e with car
* Suspension tidy up..bushes etc. (clunks from the front)
* 2.5" inch exhaust & extractors
* EMV touchscreen repair & conversions or replace with a double din head unit & a TT aircon control.
* Paint & body kit
* Additional performance upgrades...more boost
Im using the salami method to get the investments past the wife (1 thin slice at a time), so the mods will take some time!
Anyway thanks for contributing to this forum...Ive yet to find a question that is unanswered...except for detailed instructions on how to make babies...still searching...

Here are few more piccies of the car using the mobile. Ill get some high-res piccies shortly.
With the interior, I need to find an elegant solution for the gearbox surround. I have a manual TT suround which i could use...but then I lose the TRC, TEMS, Height switches. I would also like to keep the look of the walnut trim on the center console. Any ideas would be appreciated!
The rims are Starcorp Racing Fusion - Black from Tempe tyres. Went there the day after I got the car. Its the first & last time I expect I will ever see a nice set of rims being fitted to a banged up vege truck... |

You can get the holes for the TRC, TEMS and Height switches custom cut like I did with my TRC button.
And then purchase the woodgrain cover from somewhere (Import Scene comes to mind) and cut to fit. |
