hi Tim,

Welcome to the club mate. Are you replacing the twins with a second hand set or doing it properly and getting some steel wheeled jobs NOT from ebay.

The cruises have been a bit thin lately in Brisbane but there is always people keen to go driving. The problem lies in the fact that people are scared to organise one.

Its pretty easy,

- Thread title should contain a destintion/type of cruise (night, mountain, outback, coast) AND the date.

- Just use the simple WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, HOW method.

- You dont have to detail a route there and then, perhaps just a start point OR meeting point.

- ALways plan the cruise WELL in advance, give it a good month or so to get some numbers AND do not be afraid to drop hints/reminders/spam (sorry pen) into other threads beacause not everyone checks the Events section.

Anyways, sorry i think i crapped on a little there.

Good luck with the turbos and welcome again.

Haro

p.s - Check out the QLD Events Section and see what you can find.

To All,

a bit scared to post pictures. don't want people to see crap! i start the pictures rolling when i start to pimp up my ride( interior :-) ).

I am getting second hand turbos and getting an after market dump put in.. 3inch pipe... man, it look awesome. friend told me that that the sock part was not design right as it cause a bit of back pressure and is too restrictive. The turbos are now in and all is working well, started to drive an... another problem. (sales person did something well to hide this)

Power steering pump ... dead. now looking at ways to fix/replace this. apart from this, there is only a few tiny things that needs to be fix and the car is going to be ready.

was thinking about swapping with anyone who would like to down size their ride to a stock???

Anyone Interested.??

Regarding the cruse... well two other mates interested who have soarers so that three so far... don't care how many, just wanted to enjoy the soarer experience.

kind of new, anyone if there is a post about places not to by cars from?

A soarer isn't crap mate.....Don't be ashamed of it and post up picks. It is always good to see it in the raw then see it transform over the coming years.....A sense of acheivement and good reading for the soarer community.

Fair enough mate......Will be good to see it transform in coming months.
Just some advice,You really do get what you pay for when buying performance parts....Do your re-search on the forum and see were some of us have payed for things and got stung for it....As I did trying to cost cut...It ain't worth it in the end,So do it right the first time and you will save in the long run...
