Hey everyone, how's it going? My name is Bonza (or mat, whichever works for ya.) and I'm the proud owner of a silver Soarer in Perth.
I love the car to bits, but it wasn't my initial choice, and I only noticed the Soarers when I found that I was too tall to cram myself into the 1990 model Supra. (I love the look of the older supras.. there's just something about them hehe) However I'm glad that it didn't work out with that particular car, or I wouldn't have found myself this beast.
My car is currently a factory stock 1995 Twin Turbo 5spd Manual. With the exclusion of the after market rims put on by the previous Japanese owner. However those will soon be changing, as I wanted to upgrade the size of my rims, and at the same time my tread is wearing dangerously low, so as of Wednesday next week my car will have some new shoes.
From there the sky is the limit, I've got my alarm lined up to be installed in a week, then some exhaust / intake mods as I've heard that they get a significant boost in performance due to the heavily suppressed factory exhaust and lacking intake. (though feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)
I also have some body work planned and a nice change of hue for my car in the not too distant future hopefully!
So no doubt you will see me roaming the boards, looking for advice, and giving it where I can, and hopefully I will have the opportunity to meet some of my fellow Perth based Soarer owners for a bit of a cruise some time!
